Pre-Sale Marketing
Option 1: Zone Marketing
Post fliers and pass out post cards within this zone and you will earn one volunteer shift for each zone you have completed. We will provide you with a map of an area (zone) along with a list of required places to post, this list usually consists of 15-20 places. Note: You will need to provide a listing of where you have posted fliers and post cards. The deadline to have the marketing materials distributed is one week prior to the sale date.
Our Zone Marketing covers these areas:
- Camas/Washougal
- Fishers Landing
- Battle Ground/Ridgefield
- East Vancouver
- Downtown Vancouver
- Cascade Park
- Hazel Dell
- West Vancouver
- Van Mall/Orchards
- Salmon Creek
Option 2: Postcards
Distribute 100 postcards! These are easy to hand out to friends, neighbors, at the park, at soccer games, you name it. You can also deliver door to door in your neighborhood and use as door hangers. Each 100 post cards you pass out you earn a volunteer shift. Note: You will need to provide a listing of where you have posted fliers and post cards.
How do I get the marketing materials?
You will receive an email with information on several “meet up” opportunities in the months and weeks leading up to the sale. At the Meet Ups we have the promotional materials ready for you to pick up and start your distribution. Also, keep an eye on our Facebook page for these opportunities! Not a consignor, Not a problem!
You do not have to be a consignor to volunteer. If you would like a Pre-Sale pass just work one volunteer shift. As a non-consignor we ask that you sign up for a work shift(s) prior to the start of the Pre-Sale. Those would include Pre-Sale Marketing and Sale Set-Up work shifts prior to the Pre-Sale on Thursday. What if I cannot work all the shifts?
You do not personally have to work all the volunteer shifts; you can work one, with your husband filling in another and your brother helping out tear down the sale, as an example.
How do I sign up?
If you are a Registered Consignor you can just login to your account to sign-up for a shift. If you are not consigning, but still want to volunteer you can sign-up through this link. Or you can access the links to the right.
